D. Schmüdde is a film director and computer scientist who has been building experiences and creating stories for broad audiences for the last 15 years. His work has been broadcast on traditional outlets such as the Dish Network, AT&T U-Verse, and Direct TV, screened at legendary venues like the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, and performed in stalwart institutions such as the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art and the Schusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow. His work encourages viewers to participate while maintaining aesthetic principles and a personal vulnerability that fuels powerful works of art.

Karol Martesko-Fenster is an Austrian-born American entrepreneur and media industry innovator with broad motion picture, broadcast, print, and Internet backgrounds and his career spans over two decades including leadership in the American independent film industry. Karol has provided strategic consulting services to numerous film and media ventures, produced multiple award winning feature films and over 20 music television and satellite programs. He co-founded FILMMAKER Magazine and RES Magazine and the media content enterprises cinelan.com, indiewire.com, and conditionone.com. Currently Managing Partner of Cinelan and Thought Engine, he was previously President of Film for Michael Cohl’s S2BN Entertainment, SVP&GM of Film & Animation at Babel Networks, Head of Film at Chris Blackwell's Palm Pictures, President of RES Media Group and President/Publisher of Silicon Alley Reporter.
Producer: Kathryn Henderson, Beyond the Frame
Kathryn Henderson is a producer & line producer living in Brooklyn, NY. Over the past 10 years, she’s worked as a producer at in-house agencies, production, and post production companies for clients including Adult Swim, Harley-Davidson, Procter & Gamble, GE, Google, and agencies such as Leo Burnett, DDB, BBDO, JWT, and VSA Partners.
Kathryn simultaneously maintains her independent career producing and line producing both films and documentaries. This has given her an unusual position in an ever-changing industry where film, video, and art are merging in the digital world. Fresh, creative approaches are needed: whether it’s animation (2D or 3D), live action narrative, or documentary, Kathryn is comfortable building and managing the right teams.
